LidoBand XL is a latex rubber band designed to be placed around the base of the scrotum of bulls for castration. Each castration band is infused with 240 mg of lidocaine, which provides local anesthesia. Lidocaine will quickly diffuse through the skin and remain in the local tissue due to vasoconstriction from the band.
