LidoBand EZE from Solvet delivers lidocaine (400 mg/band) into scrotal tissues during castration. This novel lidocaine-impregnated elastrator addresses the pain and discomfort associated with band castration. Local anesthetic is delivered in as little as 2 hours and lasts for up to 42 days post-application. The LidoBand enables injection-free, surgery-free, bloodless castrations which improve animal welfare. Addressing pain also improves post-castration average daily gain and decreases producer's time and handling costs. Wear protective gloves while handling the LidoBand.
