The Ritchie insulates the water so well it can make it throught the winter without supplying heat in many areas when installed properly.
The water is completely surrounded by fully insulated polyethylene plastic including an insulated elliptical enclosure covering the drinking areas.
The covered waterer keeps the water cooler in the summer, reduces loss of water due to evaporation, and also protects against mosquitoes breeding.
The CT2 is a two trough automatic waterer ideal for a fence line or stand alone application.
Herd capacity is 100 beef, 28 gallons.
